Volunteer with us
Our volunteers create puppets and sets in our intergenerational projects and help us prepare puppet supplies for our school projects.
Most of our volunteering opportunities are in and around St Albans, but within that area our volunteers can do some of their work from home.

Become a Trustee
Our board of Trustees oversees what we do and makes sure we stay on track without being involved in the day-to-day running of the charity.
We welcome interest from all potential Trustees, regardless of their skills or background. Absolutely no previous experience of being a Trustee is needed! -

Become a Project Leader
Our project leaders come from a range of backgrounds, from performing arts to visual arts to education. They work with each class for an entire project, building relationships with the children as they guide them through each aspect of the project from puppetmaking to performance.

Easy ways to support us

In this difficult time, spread some positivity—tell your family and friends about your vision for building a positive future for the children who most need it, and inspire them to join in. If you've got a puppet at home, why not make up a little show for them? (and if not, head to our Free Resources page for some puppetmaking inspiration!)

We'd love to keep you in the loop on our efforts to support disadvantaged children and young people, and ways you can get involved. We also give our subscribers first look at the workshops we run for all ages—ideal if you've ever wanted to make a marionette yourself!

We use social media to share the wonderful world of puppetry created by the children on our projects. Follow us on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and LinkedIn. Come and say hi, and show us what you're making! Sharing our posts really helps get the word out about what we do—you never know who follows you who might be inspired to join us in making a difference next year.
