Lockdown has affected every child's learning and development. But for children facing additional challenges, such as an unstable or impoverished family home, bereavement, learning difficulties, English as an additional language, caring responsibilities and much more, this time of disruption and isolation will have a devastating impact. Initial studies are suggesting that this period will widen the gap between rich and poor in schools, with children from disadvantaged backgrounds falling further behind.

Let a child create something they will treasure forever. You can give them everything they need to create a complex nine-string marionette including a head base, clay, paint, a selection of wools and fabrics, haberdashery, thread (sewing thread and stringing thread) as well as custom-made boxes, puppet parts and hardware. They will learn a huge range of new skills far beyond their expectations and create a puppet that they will be proud to take home as a lasting memory.

Bring children together in teams to learn new skills and create set designs to bring their characters to life. You can provide them with specially-built backdrop canvases, paint, custom-made parts for props, and a selection of fabric, clays and paints for the children to build and decorate everything that their show requires. The results are spectacular - many of our sets elicit gasps from the audiences when the curtain goes up!

Every child's puppet project starts with a script. From there, their imagination takes flight as they create characters and sets around their class' story.
