The first week back at Aboyne Lodge saw the pupils tackle the 3D parts of their set designs, making furniture and other props for each of the scenes.

Tickets on sale for Soldier's Tale

Tickets are now on sale for all our April performances of The Soldier's Tale with students from the Purcell School. There are a limited number at each venue, so make sure you get yours soon! Booking details and dates are as follows:
Friday 17th April, 7pm, The Purcell School, Bushey (call the school to book on 01923 331138)
Monday 20th April, 7.30pm, Jackson's Lane Arts Centre, Highgate (www.jacksonslane.org.uk)
Tuesday 21st April, 7.30pm, The Maltings Arts Theatre, St Albans (www.maltingsartstheatre.co.uk)

Set painting underway at Aboyne Lodge

Last week saw Aboyne Lodge students finalise and begin painting their designs for the backdrops. Kudos to the young artists who worked with very little elbow room and got remarkably little paint on the floor and themselves!
