We've had a fantastic Autumn term this year, with lots of amazing puppets produced - here's a look back at what we've done.

In their last puppet session this term, our project leader at The Grove asked a few of the children to write a press release about their project so far, and take some photos to go along with their report. Here are the results (all text and photos by members of Y6)
This year in Year Six at The Grove Primary School, we've been doing the Tudor period story called A Midsummer Night's Dream. It's a story of a couple and the girl's dad forbids the two of them to be together so they run away to the forest where there are fairies. In the first few weeks we made the heads, which are made out of air dry clay, then the hands were made from a clay that has to be put in an oven. When we did the clothes I pricked my finger by accident at least 5 times. When we get to the production I really hope my puppet is chosen. |
