The Purcell students are making puppets from the story Oceanova, which was the winning entry in our scriptwriting competition held in partnership with Commonwealth Writers. Written by Preeti Sharma, the story is about coral poaching in the Lakshwadeep archipelago, and one girl's fight to save the oceans. The performances will take place at some point next academic year.

Today's challenges include making their puppet's heads and assembling the bodies.
